4-cottage safari lodge in Grietjie Game Reserve with private waterhole views
Accommodation & Rooms
The lodge has 4 cottages, each with a private bathroom stocked with free toiletries, a hairdryer, and bathrobes. Every room offers a view of the waterhole directly from the private terrace, and the Zebra Family Chalet includes a separate upper level for a second bed. Guests can use the outdoor shower, pillow service, and a wall USB port in the room.
Dining & Culinary
Ilse prepares all meals, including a 3-course dinner each evening, with special diet menus available on request. The lodge has a bar, a coffee house on site, and offers wine and champagne, along with a gin tasting at sunset. Guests can order fruits and special diet menus, and the dinner often includes a sundowner on the deck.
Wildlife & Game Drives
Loek leads morning and evening game drives in the Grietjie Game Reserve, where guests commonly see lions, elephants, giraffes, and the Big-5. A full-day tour to Kruger National Park can be arranged, as well as a walking tour with a guide named Eugene. The lodge also offers a live webcam at the waterhole that guests can watch from their rooms or on the shared lounge TV.

An outdoor infinity pool is open all year, with sun loungers and pool towels provided, and guests can relax on the sun terrace overlooking the reserve. The lodge provides massages including back, couples, foot, hand, head, neck, and full-body massages.
